🙅‍♀️I don’t want to lose weight- I want to feel good about myself. .
.
‼️That was the my biggest resolution this year when I starting working out again at @Orangetheory. I wanted to be sure I didn’t end up back in that toxic negative headspace of working out and counting calories obsessively. And they’ve kept me so on track and cheered me on all year.

✊I’m Here to tackle the gross toxic diet culture that our society seems the THRIVE ON. So here’s some truths-.
.
.
❌I’ve thrown out my scale! I did this last January and feel great about it. I was obsessed with knowing my weight in the morning EVERYDAY. It was so unhealthy. I wanted to focus on feeling good- and racking that number did the exact opposite. .
.
.
❌I don’t calorie count. I eat when I’m hungry and make sure it’s food with veggies and fruit. But always save room for the piece of cake. .
.
❌I don’t do stupid laxative teas, hazardous appetite suppressant suckers, or pointless waist trainers. I do take a multivitamin since a lot of our foods lack B12 that we need. .
.
.
❌I don’t have a set exercise schedule. I exercise when I have time. I aim for 3-4 times a week- but I also enjoy being active outside such as going on hikes, paddle boarding, and more. .
.

🗣I’m telling you all this so you know- all the images, MLM schemes, quick fixes, that the “fitspo” diet pushing influencers are just there to feed your unhappiness- so they can get money from it. The most revolutionary act you can do today is love yourself just the way you are. 💚
